July Book Club: The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas

Join us for our July book club discussion of The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas. For this meeting, we’ll be reading and discussing chapters 61–117 of the 1846 classic.

This second half of the novel brings together revenge, justice, identity, loyalty, and redemption as Dumas carries Edmond Dantès’ story toward its unforgettable conclusion. Readers are welcome to come ready to share their thoughts, favorite passages, questions, and reflections from the reading.

Meetings take place at Addison’s on the last Wednesday of each month, unless it interferes with a holiday, from 7 to 8:30 pm. The cost is $5, and attendees are welcome to bring their own food and drinks. If you would like to participate, read the book and join us!
