August Book Club: The Reivers by William Faulkner

Join us for our August book club discussion of The Reivers by William Faulkner. For this meeting, we’ll be reading and discussing Faulkner’s 1962 novel, a story filled with mischief, memory, Southern storytelling, and coming-of-age reflection.

The Reivers follows a young boy’s unforgettable journey through early 20th-century Mississippi and Tennessee, blending humor, adventure, and moral awakening in Faulkner’s final novel. Readers are welcome to come ready to share their thoughts, favorite passages, questions, and reflections from the reading.

Meetings take place at Addison’s on the last Wednesday of each month, unless it interferes with a holiday, from 7 to 8:30 pm. The cost is $5, and attendees are welcome to bring their own food and drinks. If you would like to participate, read the book and join us!
